Stonebridge Adventure Playground: what has been lost (or stolen from us)
I thought this 'Tribute to the children'posted yesterday on the Stonebridge Adventure Playground Facebook site LINK deserved a wider audience.
It shows just what has been lost by Brent Council's thoughtless closure of a unique facility.

Well worth watching! A brilliant "Tribute" to a valuable and now lost community facility, with the poignant backing track of Yusef / Cat Stephens's "Where do the children play?"

Very sad. This playground brought all the stonebridge residents together, All cultures and religions together in one place with one common theme, Integration. All kids played and all parents mingled. Now it's back to each to their own, separatism.

From what I see and hear of the man he's not interested in the wider community, just his own.
What ever did become of the Tokyngton library that the residents fought him so hard to keep as a community venue?
